Renee Walker
Biography
Renee Walker, originally from Central Texas, graduated from University of Texas Business School with a BBA in Statistics, then from University of Texas School of Law with Honors. Renee earned her doctoral degree in Ethics and Society from Emory University’s Graduate Division of Religion.
Renee has over 10 years experience as an attorney, and focuses on areas of probate, family law and general business litigation. Communication with the client is always at the forefront as a means to educate, strategize and develop evidence. Clients highly contribute to the litigation process and this relationship is key.
Renee has also striven to take part in charter school education growth and development. She led a group of founding parents to obtain one of the last eight charters in Texas, to start an open-enrollment K-12 International Baccalaureate campus, whereafter she was on the board for four years. She also taught multi modality citizenship workshops to teenagers and trained officers of the Dallas County Juvenile Department. Education litigation is enlightened by these education experiences.
Outside of work Renee enjoys fitness, comedy clubs, time with family, cooking and taking walks.
