Why litigation may not be the best alternative for proper redress in all cases

– To file a claim in court is not only costly but may take a long time.

•- If you need immediate resolution, what is likely in an education matter, justice may be served too late.

•- You have difficulties handling stress and remembering dates and details, what may hinder your ability to take the stand or be able to tell your story properly.

•- You may get a better resolution considering negotiation or an amicable settlement, because the other party may be willing to resolve the matter and avoid cost and litigation expenses.

•- However, you have to get your matter ready as to facts and responsibilities, evaluate properly your possibilities of prevailing in court as well as to know how much your damages are worth, so that settlement is fair.
