Sophia Zoe Kilmer

Sophia Zoe Kilmer serves as managing attorney of New Jersey for LLG National Law Group.  She has been practicing law for 15 years, always representing people and never corporations, organizations or insurance companies.  She has primarily worked in the field of catastrophic loss and wrongful death, representing individuals or the families of individuals who were tragically injured or died due to the negligence of others.  She has extensive experience taking on some of the largest corporations and organizations in the world and has represented clients in catastrophic auto accidents, trucking accidents, construction litigation, sexual abuse litigation, and medical malpractice. 

In addition to her catastrophic injury practice, Ms. Kilmer has represented clients in workers’ compensation matters, workplace injury claims, Social Security disability cases, and employment discrimination disputes involving wrongful termination.

She was recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star annually from 2019-2024.  Additionally, she was named a Top 40 Under 40 Attorney by the National Trial Lawyers Association.

Originally from the suburbs of Kansas City, Ms. Kilmer brings her midwestern charm, as well as northeastern grit and tenacity, to the courtroom on a daily basis, which is a lethal combination in the courtroom. 

She earned her J.D. from Washburn School of Law in Topeka, Kansas, where she graduated with Dean’s Honors.  She also earned an LLM in “Globalization and the Law” from Maastricht University School of Law in the Netherlands (a top-100 university in the world).

She went to law school to help people, and helping others is the guiding principle in her life.  She truly believes the most fundamental institution in the United States is our legal system, and that it enables David to take on Goliath on a level playing field.  She believes that everyone who seeks a lawyer deserves to be zealously represented by someone who truly cares about them and their receiving justice for the harm they have suffered. 

Sophia is a prominent and zealous advocate for the LGBTQ community and often gives speeches and presentations on the dangers and legal issues currently confronting the community.  She strives through her massive social media presence to raise awareness of the realities of the struggles the queer community faces in our society, at work, in school and in their everyday lives.

Sophia is a mother of her beautiful, kindergartener, who is the light of her life.   Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Kilmer is active in her community and enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and flag football.  She is also training to become a youth sports referee.
